Joining a watch party

Description: Watch Party allows event participants to watch a video stream while interacting with one another simultaneously. 

Disclaimer: In order to reduce feedback from the video stream in the watch party room, we recommend using headphones. If the audio output is through computer speakers, we reccomend muting the microphone when not speaking.

1. To join a watch party, locate the current live meeting by clicking Agenda in your top navigation panel and selecting Join Watch Party directly to the right side of the current time slot.
2. All open rooms will be displayed on the following page along with the spots. You can see which attendees are currently active in a specific watch party by clicking the See Who Has Joined dropdown under any room. 
3. Once you locate a room with capacity click Join Now to enter. 
4. Upon entering, a test screen will appear in order to ensure the correct camera and microphone inputs from your device are selected. A video preview, as well as an audio input slider, will display if the correct inputs are chosen. Click Join Meeting to proceed into the room.
5. Upon entering the room, all participants will be visible to interact with, while the current event video stream is playing. At any time the camera and microphone may be toggled on or off using the navigation panel on the left. To exit the room, select the phone icon from the left side panel.
