Speed Networking

Description: Speed networking is a forum used on this platform as a networking tool for attendees to meet one another in a timed session. Visitors will be shuffled into new rooms with different attendee groups at random on a timed interval in order to network more effectively.

1. Locate Speed Networking from the event navigation panel. On the next page select Join Now to enter the networking room.  
2. Once in the room you will be randomly placed with other participants from the event. You will have microphone and camera access in this room which can be toggled on and off in the room's left side panel. (See How to enable camera and microphone in a Vmeet for further troubleshooting)
3. In the bottom left of the window, you will see a timer showing how long is left in the current networking round before you "shuffle" to the next room with new participants. The back arrow will exit you from the current session if you no longer would like to participate.
4. Once the current round is about to end, you will receive a message on the screen notifying you that you are being placed automatically in a new networking group.
5. Once the final round has concluded, you will receive a message that networking portion of the event has ended. You may close the browser window and navigate back to the main page.
