Selecting the correct audio output
Description: If a video stream has begun and you cannot hear the video stream please ensure that the volume slider is turned up. If you still do not hear audio ensure the correct audio output is selected on your device.
PC:
1. Click on the Sound icon at the bottom right of your screen.
2. Click the arrow next to the Speaker option
3. You will see the options available for audio output. Click the one that you need based on what you are connected to. (Examples: Digital Audio Out HDMI, Epson Projector)
4. Sound should start playing out of the correct device. If it doesn't, make sure the volume is turned up on the video itself.
Mac:
First, click the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of the screen and select “System Preferences.”
In System Preferences, click “Sound.”
In the “Sound” preferences window, click the “Output” button.
In Output preferences, you will see a list of connected and recognized audio output devices. Click the entry for the device that you’d like to use, and system sound will be routed to that device.
Also, if you have enabled “Show volume in the menu bar” in Sound preferences, you can also quickly switch between audio output devices by clicking on the speaker icon in your menu bar.
