Create a new meeting room (directors)

During an event you may want to create smaller breakout sessions for group discussions. As a director you have the ability to select other attendees to send to specific breakout rooms, message the rooms, and invite them back to the main stage.


Create a new meeting room

  1. Select the attendees icon from the left side panel of your vMeet room.

  1. To the right of the room a panel will appear. From the top of this panel select the "Attendees" field from the top. This will reveal options to "Create a New Meeting Room".

  2. Once “Create a new meeting room” is selected a pop up will appear. Here you may enter the “Virtual room name” , “Attendees” and room “Description”

  3. The selected attendees will receive a message with the invitee name, room name and description. They will then have the option to “Stay in this room” and not leave the main room or “Go to the new room”

  4. Once attendees move to the newly created room you are able to send them a message when it is time for them to return to the main room. You can type your message in the box under “Customize the notification” and it will be sent to all attendees as a notification”
